Support the Four Corners, One Vision Study

The Four Corner Area Council invites you to join our One Vision project as a Visionary.
 
For more than 10 years the Council has contemplated how to combine the interest from local businesses and residences to more formally join the region in Central Florida known as Four Corners.
 
Over the last year, the Four Corners Area Council has explored how this goal might be achieved. This exploration has led to identifying UCF as the provider of the expertise in researching and preplanning for such a united entity. To make this first Phase I step, we are raising the $25,000 through individual donations and business sponsorships. Your Council has committed $5000. The Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber Foundation has committed to match dollar-for- dollar up to $10,000. This, of course, means any new contribution just doubled!
 
Please consider becoming a Phase I Visionary with a match eligible donation of $200 to $1,000. As a donor, you/your company will be listed on the UCF report and as a contributor on this web page.

A brief summary of Phase I of UCF's plan is below :
-Describe and define the Four Corners boundary within each county of Lake Orange, Osceola and Polk County, Florida.
-Documents current entities and special districts presently within Four Corners Area in the above listed 4 counties.

Phase II (Estimated cost is $100,000-$125,000):
-Identify and describe potential entities that might manage the Four Corners Area once it is identified.
-Identify potential funding sources to support the operation of a newly created Four Corners management entity.
-Prepare a “road map” to manage the creation and adoption of such an entity.
