Members and business friends of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce  are invited to attend an excellent seminar, which will provide all the necessary information for a business to manage some of its activities using interns. Staffed by two expert faculty, the seminar will also include an HR-knowledgeable attorney. The event will include a course book, relevant materials and a full breakfast.

Internships are a proven method for entry to the workforce for young job seekers, providing real-life experiences necessary for a well-rounded education. For business, internships can shorten the learning curve of new employees, create a direct talent pipeline, reduce risks associated with new hires, and fill the personnel needs of the organization.

Realizing the many benefits internships have for the workforce of Florida, The Able Trust is hosting five training seminars throughout the state that will provide businesses with all of the tools and information they need to develop their own internship program.

Designed for small and mid-sized businesses, but relevant to businesses of all size, the seminar will provide participants with all the necessary information and tools to create an internship program at their own business or organization. The seminar and course materials will provide enough information for participants to leave with a turn-key internship program or a solid base to develop a completely custom program tuned to specific needs and goals.

The mission of The Able Trust is to be a key leader in providing Floridians with disabilities opportunities for successful employment. Although the seminar will be oriented toward considering talented people with disabilities for internship opportunities, the information in the seminar is applicable to all internships candidates.
