Four Corners, One Vision Phase II

Four Corners, One Vision Initiative Phase II

Download the full Four Corners, One Vision Phase II Final Report Here

Phase I of the Four Corners, One Vision initiative identified three strategic issues to address:  land use and development regulations, housing, and transportation.

Finding the information gained in Phase I valuable, the Four counties that make up the Four Corners area agreed to come together to address the issues identified above (as well as others) that face the region. As part of Phase II of this study, they worked with The Four Corners Area Council and their consultants from GAI and The University of Central Florida to:

  • Establish a Steering Committee to oversee the study. The committee is composed of two representatives (public & private sectors) from each county and two private sector representatives from the Four Corners Area Council.
  • Establish a Technical Committee made up of professional staff from each county that will provide support to the Steering Committee.
  • Provide, through the Steering Committee and consultants, recommendations on establishing an organizational structure that may be permanent in nature to monitor the overall implementation of recommendations made by the Steering Committee to the four counties.
  • Address in detail three key strategic issues identified in the Phase I Study:
    • Land use and development regulations
    • Affordable housing
    • Transportation
  • Present Phase II to the four county commissions by February 2020

We are pleased to report that each county invested financially in this initiative. We are seeking tax-deductible donations so we may continue to fund the initiative through 2020 and beyond:

  • Tax-deductible donations can be made by check to The Chamber Foundation, 1425 E. Vine St., Kissimmee, FL 34744.
  • To pay over the phone, request an invoice, or to provide feedback on the initiative and its work, please call 407-847-4145.
  • Direct donations may be made via the "Register Here" button.
