The Osceola Chamber Tourism Safety Coalition Meeting
April is Autism Acceptance Month, and Dierdre Shaw, Destination Stewardship Manager with Experience Kissimmee, will give a presentation to the Tourism Safety Coalition about autism training for their organization(s). This training, conducted by the Autism Travel Club, covers essential topics such as sensory-friendly environments, communication strategies, and best practices for providing a welcoming and inclusive experience. Experience Kissimmee partners can receive a discount for this training as well as promotion for completing the training.
Join us on April 9 to learn about this program and discuss ways to promote welcoming travel opportunities for the 7-million U.S. individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
As always, Coalition meetings are open to members and non-members.
